We sure did! Megs, Anne, Kelly, Shawnie and I hired a personal trainer. It's my cousins friend Tony. Tonight was our first work out--minus Shawnie cause she is out of town. Anyway, WHAT A WORKOUT! It was great. Yep, I'm sore. Yep, my legs feel like Jello. Yep, I can't walk up the stairs but I am excited to start getting in shape and loosing weight. I had a pretty good week, except for yesterday, watching what I ate.
It was great because we were all there to encourage each other on. If things got rough, and they did, I would yell BIKINI. I am actually looking forward to Thursday at 5:30 to start all over again. Kathleen

I've been a bad, bad girl!
I am so embarassed to write this...but maybe it will make me accountable for what I put in my mouth. For breakfast today, I had a large glass of skim milk(yay!) and a Suzy Q(boo). For lunch, I had turkey sandwich on lowfat bread, baked chips, a diet coke, and two oreo balls(boo). Just ate a snack of a cupcake. Can you see where my weaknesses are?? My kids have started calling me Mrs. McChocolate! How embarassing!~So tomorrow I will try to do better. I have some fat free chocolate pudding in the house that will have satisfy my chocolate craving. Hopefully I will not eat five of them at a time! And I eat like this everyday! No wonder I have packed on 50 pounds in five years! I need motivation BAD! So my motivation is to fit into a size 10 bathing suit(weighing about 130-135 pounds) by our family vacation in North Carolina next summer! I think I will buy it and hang it on my bedroom wall for motivation, just like the yogurt commercial!!

Good so far
I actually DID start my diet yesterday...you know, when we were supposed to start LEENIE!!! No fair that you cheated and ate BK - or is it not fair that you didn't invite me?
I actually did really good yesterday. I was tempted to grab something quick and easy for lunch, but took the time to make an awesome salad with grilled chicken. I think I've finally realized that you can't eat healthy in a hurry and without planning ahead. I'm not going to be able to go to the grocery store twice a month anymore - this will work for most of the groceries, but I'm going to have to go back weekly for produce and I'm going to have to plan plan plan!
I'm actually pretty proud of myself and off to a good start. I gained 20 pounds with Jack and I had lost it and was back to my pre-pregnancy weight just 6 days after he was born. I've gone on to loose an additional 10 to 15 pounds on top of that. I'm out of all my maternity clothes and in my regular clothes and I'm looking forward to a shopping spree soon when I've lost enough to not have anything else to wear.
So for me, it's not the baby weight, it's the weight before the baby that needs to come off.
I'm excited for Biggest Looser to start - that always motivates me! And the help of all my girls. We just have to remember that there is no food that tastes better than being skinny feels. Does that make sense? Not even a Big Mac or Whopper!
Is anyone doing WW again? Not sure here - we'll see how the month of October goes with regular diet and exercise.

Tomorrow is another day....
Anyone start their diet today? I was supposed to but Ree Ree said that Biggest Loser doesn't start until tomorrow so we celebrated by eating Burger King for lunch. Sad thing......we both weren't that hungry but choked it down anyway and it was very yummy. Tomorrow--yep--tomorrow.

IT'S TIME
OK Ladies: as of 10/1/08 we are starting back up. It is time we got our butts in shape. Babies have been born...mine over a year ago and time to get serious.
We are in this together. No more Big Macs, Whoppers, French Fries, brownies or whatever your vice is....get rid of it before the end of Sept.
Our goal is to loose between 5-10 lbs by the end of the year.
LET's DO THIS. If we can birth babies and raise them, we can kick gaining weight in the ass.
Anyone else in????

UH..OH
Judging by the way my jeans fit, I'd say I've gained back most of the weight I've lost. I refuse to get on a scale until Monday(my usual weigh in day). I am really going to try hard now. I mean it! I look at pictures of myself on all your blogs and I look so....round! Once I can breathe normally again, I'm going to start exercising. I have a really good tape that I used to do 5 years ago when I lost a ton of weight. Hopefully it will work again, with dieting of course! Maybe I'll even go outside and walk.. someone said fresh air is good. Stay tuned!

HELLOOO
Hey everyone. I'm still here. I will not go down without a fight. I have been trying to lay off the sauce(halloween candy). I managed to lose another half pound this week. I am no where near my goal, but I guess it's better than nothing. Anyone else out there??
